I’ve always been a fan of baby sleeping bags, and kept Joe (now 11 years old) in one until his second birthday when I transferred him out of his cot into a ‘proper’ bed with a duvet. I was expecting to do the same with Huey (19 months) but last week he started tearing off and escaping his baby sleeping bag like a maniac every single naptime and bedtime… so taking cues from the little boss I decided it was time to scrap the sleeping bags and get him under a duvet.
I’ve spent the week surfing the web in search of some nice bedlinen for my little Sleeping-Bag-Houdini, so thought I’d share my findings! Although he’ll be going into a toddler bed, I did find that cotbed bedding was much less widely available and with very few tasteful budget-friendly options, so I’ve decided I will probably just use a standard single duvet instead – loads more choice of duvet covers that are much more reasonably priced. So all the below options are for standard single sized duvets, although quite a few of them do offer cotbed sized options in those same prints as well. Let’s hope that ace duvet = ace sleeping skills!
